Our risen Lord and Savior
By becoming man, God provided a means to fellowship, a means to redeem those who accept that He gave Himself up on the cross for their sake, and a means to show man the way to eternal life through the gospel. Moreover, having become man, God was able to carry out a plan and set a stage that had been designed before time.
This term highlights the reason why God who is all-powerful would done the mantle of humanity as a baby. It is too easy for people to chalk God up to evolution or some other impersonal conclusion that is as scientific as it is repeatable. It is too easy for people to set Jesus Christ up as a straw-man to be knocked down in favor of simply being a person who was ahead of his time. It is too easy to discount sound apologetics in favor marrying bias with prejudice to produce an overly obtuse argument.
