Agere Sequitur Esse

Agere Sequitur Esse

— Action Follows Being

Agere Sequitur Esse

Agere Sequitur Esse means means that action follows being. If a person is [being] a laborer, then they will labor. Whether it is cementing bricks as a laborer rather than being skilled laborer who is acting in a higher capacity as a principal person constructing a home with plans in mind and so on, a laborer is simply doing labor, one brick at a time. This is one example of many more examples to come. However, the point is probably clear enough for the average “Joe” to understand.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).
