30 What shall wee say then? That the Gentiles which followed not after righteousnesse, haue attained to righteousnesse, euen the righteousnesse which is of faith:
31 But Israel which followed after the Law of righteousnesse, hath not attained to the Law of righteousnes.
32 Wherefore? because they sought it, not by faith, but as it were by the works of the Law: for they stumbled at that stumbling stone,
33 As it is written, Beholde, I lay in Sion a stumbling stone, and rocke of offence: and whosoeuer beleeueth on him, shall not be ashamed.
Chap 10
1 Brethren, my hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saued.
2 For I beare them record, that they haue a zeale of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of Gods righteousnesse, and going about to establish their owne righteousnesse, haue not submitted themselues vnto the righteousnesse of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousnes to euery one that beleeueth.
Rom 9:30-10:4
All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).
